This is the brand new, completely Flash-driven, third version of the Mpumalanga Golf Union's web site (Damn, I should become a salesperson). For some strange reason that is still beyond me, I did it entirely for free. It's easier to update with all-new features like XML connectivity that provide information like provincial teams and affiliated club lists (See the sales talk?).

It turned out a lot more edgier (?) than I planned in the beginning (the first draft was a green radial background with lots of white). But I'm happy with it. I did it free of charge, so I'm not changing it.

[Yet again, I'm in awe of the severe silence in my head.]

UPDATE: Since I'm no longer maintaining the site for the MG Union, this site is available for sale as a template (the first person to offer me USD 200.00 gets the complete source). Anyone interested can just send me a note. To view the site online, visit this [link] ...

like the round logo, that looks very clean and nice. background includes too much colors for me.

I'll be changing the background image on the other pages in the near future, so in the end only the Home Page will have that bright background. Each section will be coordinated with one of the colour schemes on the main background (Information section will be greens; Teams section pinks; Results section blues; and the Downloads section yellows).

Thank you. You have no idea how long I struggled with that navigation. First, there was only a Navigation button that had a blue overlay extending from the bottom up when you hovered over it. Then a dropdown menu opened up on the overlay, but I couldn't get the third level buttons to work, and it would have been too complicated to work. Those old golf players can get tough ...

And, thank you for visiting the live site. People usually don't.

But I'd like to keep the basic design the way it is ...
